The Challenge
Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty came to Convio with an all-too familiar set of problems – they needed a new site that not only was a refreshed look, but also that allowed them to communicate what they were doing as an organization. They were not driving any donations online, and their site design had gotten stale. The site was not serving as an accurate representation of who they are nor of what they do for the Jewish community.

The Approach
Working with Convio, MCJP was able to identify their primary goals, as well as to develop content to better communicate their mission. Convio helped MCJP to develop a new site architecture, and also to outline gaps in the content they were providing. In addition, the organization focused their attention on what they wanted to really be doing online, and what actions and emotions they wanted the site to communicate.

The Outcome
Working with our design team, they developed a look that matched their mission, as well as the sophistication of the design of their offline collateral. Using imagery provided by MCJP, coupled with a strong sense of mission and online goals, the Convio design team developed this look, which has been successfully driving donations to the organization ever since.
In the six months since the new design launched, MCJP has successfully raised over $100,000 online. |
