About the Catholic Medical Mission Board
Founded in 1928, Catholic Medical Mission Board (CMMB) works collaboratively to provide quality healthcare initiatives, without discrimination, to people in need around the world. In FY2006, it provided medicines and medical supplies, valued at more than US$128 million, to 52 countries, and supported 123 medical volunteers in 27 countries. With donor support, CMMB collaborates with partners to support healthcare projects in resourcepoor countries that address HIV and AIDS, child health and neglected diseases.

- Grew email list from 4,000 in 2005 to 32,000 in 2007 through new online registrations and donors, as well as through email appends that were followed by confirmation emails to the appended constituents
- Launching new cross-departmental initiatives, including chaperoned emails that utilized the services of American Catholic, Catholic Online and Catholic Exchange
